The vital records registered at the Embassy, are regularly sent by diplomatic pouch to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and Emigrants, which in its turn transmits it to the Ministry of Interior and Municipalities, in order to register it in the Lebanese civil registers. The required documents for a Birth registration :
* Download and fill out the Birth Application Form.
* The original Birth Certificate, legalized by the State Chancellery, with a copie.
* Two copies of a recent Family Extracts of Civil Status (not older than one year).
* Two copies of the Lebanese Marriage Certificate.
* Two copies of the Birth Certificate of the foreign spouse and two copies of his passport or his identity card.
Consular fees : No fees are required for birth registation.
